FANCY A PEARL AND DIAMOND NECKLACE FROM A HI-TEC DIVA?
The DIVA’s, entrants in the 2008 SA Variety Bash will be going HI-TEC at their fundraising luncheon this Sunday.
Using a new interactive patented auction system created by local company Smsinbulk Pty Ltd called TXTmail, the DIVA’s are set to make Variety Bash history.
Although this event is sold out, for the first time ever, prospective bidders and Variety supporters who cannot attend the luncheon will still be able to bid on auction items from their lounge chairs, from home or from any place they choose via their mobile phones.
Those taking part in the live auction at the Old Clarendon Inn will be joined by these sms bidders.
Prospective bidders complete a registration form available from the Diva’s and in this way the auctioneer will be able to accept bids using the TXTmail system from registered bidders all around Australia, or in fact, all around the world.
Several major auction items will be available, including a beautiful Pearl and Diamond necklace with Matching Earrings valued at over $14,000, a Stretch Hummer for 14 people for a 4 hour winery tour valued at over $1,700, as well as sporting memorabilia, wines and paintings. As a first these will be auctioned using the new online TXTmail system.
Bidders will be able to view the auction and interact with the live auction as it happens.
Diva spokesperson, Leonie Hunt, said that this revolutionary system, will enable the Diva’s to maximise interest and engage more bidders in their fundraising events and their auctions.
